Mulder and Scully

FBI Agent Couple
(Mulder and Scully)

Fox William Mulder (David Duchovny) is a fictional character in the Fox science fiction-supernatural television series The X-Files. An FBI Special Agent, Mulder's peers consider his (often correct) theories on extraterrestrial activity as spooky and far-fetched. He also has a photographic memory and is red/green colorblind. With his FBI partner Dana Scully, he works in the X-Files office, which is concerned with cases with particularly mysterious or possibly paranormal circumstances that were left unsolved and shelved by the FBI. Mulder believes in extraterrestrial unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and a government conspiracy to hide or deny the truth of their existence. Mulder considers the X-Files and the truth behind the supposed conspiracy so important that he has made them the main focus of his life.

Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) is a fictional character in the Fox science fiction-supernatural television series The X-Files. Scully is an FBI agent, partnered with fellow Special Agent Fox Mulder. In the television series, they work out of a cramped basement office at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C. to investigate unsolved cases labeled "X-Files". In contrast to Mulder's credulous "believer" character, Scully is the skeptic for the first seven seasons, choosing to base her beliefs on what science can prove. She later on becomes a "believer" after Mulder's abduction at the end of season seven.

Towards the end of the series, her previously platonic friendship with partner Fox Mulder developed into a romantic relationship. When Mulder was injured in a boat crash, he awakened in a hospital and told Scully that he loved her. In the season six episode "How the Ghosts Stole Christmas", a ghost that seems to know the inner workings of Scully's mind suggests that her source of intimacy for Mulder comes from her desire to always prove him wrong. By the end of the sixth season, Mulder and Scully were increasingly shown enjoying more light-hearted activities together, such as practicing baseball, using FBI funds for a "night out" during a movie premiere, and watching a movie at Mulder's apartment. In the season seven episode all things, Scully is shown getting dressed in Mulder's bathroom, while Mulder sleeps, apparently naked, in the bedroom. In another episode, a man reveals to Scully that he works for a "new" Syndicate like-organization, and his job requires him and a few other colleagues to spy on her around the clock. Due to this he knows intimate details of Scully's personal life, right down to her "natural hair color". It is suggested by this man that Scully ultimately initiated a sexual relationship with Mulder, as he remarked that he was very surprised when she invited Mulder "into her bed". The last scene of the series finale featured Mulder and Scully holding each other on a bed, facing an uncertain future together in love.

In the film, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, which takes place six years later, Mulder and Scully are still in a relationship. Scully was concerned that Mulder's continuing pursuit of the unknown was taking its toll on their relationship and they could not be together if he couldn't "escape the darkness." However, the film ends with the couple sharing a passionate kiss, and in the "secret ending" after the majority of the credits, a happily smiling Scully is seen in a small rowboat with Mulder, both clad in swimwear, in a tropical sea, having taken him up on his offer to run away together.

Wes and Jen

Power Ranger Couple

Jen and Wes
(Pink Ranger and Red Ranger)

Wesley "Wes" Collins (Jason Faunt) is the main protagonist of Power Rangers: Time Force. He is the second and current Time Force Red of the Time Force Rangers and the second in command of the Time Force Power Rangers. Wes was the child of Mr. Collins, a local industry overlord of the fictional town of Silver Hills. Mr. Collins wanted Wes to grow up to inherit the family business from him, but his grooming served only to alienate Wes. Despite being sent to highly prestigious schools and universities, Wes was never very disciplined and maintained an easygoing attitude to life as a spoiled brat in general.

When the Time Force Rangers arrived from the future, Wes saved Jen Scotts (the Pink Time Force Ranger and team leader) from an attack by Cyclobots, revealing to her that he was genetically identical to the Red Ranger in the future, Alex. Jen gave Wes the Red Chrono Morpher so that he could activate it and, at the same time, allow her and the other three Time Force officers to morph into Power Rangers. He refused to do so without an explanation, at which point Jen angrily left. He followed and activated the morpher, becoming the Red Time Force Ranger. Jen did not want Wes to keep the morpher, but when he revealed his commitment (and along with urging from the other Rangers), she reluctantly accepted.
Wes also allowed the Rangers to acclimate to the 21st century, by providing them with a place to stay (an abandoned clock tower), and present-day clothes. He eventually moved in with them after a disagreement with his father.

With the Rangers, Wes developed a certain discipline that his father could never give him. He also developed romantic feelings for Jen - he more than likely had them initially, but it took a long while for her to reciprocate. She finally confirmed how she felt for him when Alex, the Red Ranger from the future and Jen's fiance, arrived in the present and took the Red Ranger powers back, and remanded them all for becoming too carefree. Wes (with the backing of Jen and the other Rangers) retrieved his Chrono Morpher and became the Red Ranger again returning in time to destroy the robot Dragontron with an incredible move. The Rangers by this point seemed to have accepted him as their leader as they followed his plan without question (and it was something no one had ever seen before but they trusted he knew what he was doing) unlike how they always questioned Alex.

When Ransik was finally apprehended, Jen returned to her own time, leaving Wes in the year 2001. They admitted their feelings for each other but Jen still had to leave. Wes still possessed the Red Chrono Morpher, and along with Eric Myers, the Quantum Ranger, became the leader of his father's police organization, the Silver Guardians.

In Power Rangers: Wild Force, Wes was reunited with Jen, and the other Time Force Rangers, to destroy the Mut-Orgs.

Jennifer "Jen" Scotts (Erin Cahill) is Time Force Pink and leader of the Time Force Rangers

In the distant future of the year 3000, Jen was an officer for the Time Force Police, which has nearly eradicated crime. The only remaining villain was a mutant named Ransik. Jen was present when the Red Time Force Ranger, Alex, managed to arrest Ransik and take him for trial. With Ransik captured, Alex proposed to Jen and she accepted his offer. Jen and her team were waylaid while transporting Ransik to the cryo-prison. Though they attempted to chase him down, they arrived just in time to see Ransik strike down Alex before escaping into the past. With his final breath, Alex charged her and her team with traveling into the past and apprehending Ransik again. He gave her his Red Chronomorpher, and informed her of four similar Chronomorphers that they could use to become Time Force Rangers. Distraught by the apparent death of her lover, she did as he had asked and traveled to the year 2001, where she and the others were stranded in the town of Silver Hills. Unfortunately, as the four Time Force operatives discovered, the four Chronomorphers would not work without the Red Chronomorpher. They were forced to recruit Wesley Collins, a local man with a genetic resemblance to Alex, despite Jen's objections. Jen became the Pink Time Force Ranger and leader of the team.

Over time, Jen developed true affection for Wes. However, when Alex mysteriously returned, seemingly from the dead, and stripped Wes of the Red Time Force Ranger powers, Jen found herself asking which of them she loved more. Alex had become bitter and stern, "following the book" to the degree that he would accept no suggestions beyond his own, unlike Wes who was team-oriented and friendly. Ironically, it was the differences between Wes and Alex that made her choose Wes.

Not wanting to lose Wes, either from his death or from having her memory wiped clean, Jen convinces her fellow Power Rangers to return back in time to help him in battle, while at the same time, formally ending her engagement with Alex. Jen and Wes were forced to part ways. Though she knew that she had loved Wes - and told him so - she could not stay in 2001 with him.

A year later, she was reunited with Wes and they clearly still had feelings for each other.

Andros and Ashley

Power Ranger Couple

Ashley and Andros
(Yellow Ranger and Red Ranger)

Andros (Christopher Khayman Lee) is a fictional character in the Power Rangers universe. He is the first Ranger not from Earth to be a member of the core team.

Andros is a human from the planet KO-35 and possesses telekinesis. He has long been the Red Space Ranger. When he was a child, his sister, Karone, was kidnapped. Andros made it his goal to find his sister.

When Zordon was captured by Dark Specter, Andros was among those trying to save him. Meanwhile, the former Turbo Rangers had left the Earth to also save Zordon, and were incidentally picked up by Andros' Megaship. He gave them the other four Astro Morphers to become Space Rangers. Andros became the leader of the new team, which was dedicated to protecting Earth and saving Zordon.

Despite their developing friendship, Andros still retained a shy, distant behavior due to spending years of solitude fighting the good fight on his own. Over time, he learned to open up a bit more and developed a relationship with fellow Ranger Ashley Hammond. The two end up dating from that point, having several private moments and seen holding hands multiple times.

Ashley Hammond (Tracy Lynn Cruz) is a fictional character in the Power Rangers TV series.

Ashley was chosen by Tanya Sloan to become the new Yellow Turbo Ranger during Power Rangers Turbo. Ashley's character is upbeat, hardworking, and positive, being the cheerful heart of the group.

When the Power Chamber was destroyed by Divatox and the defeated Turbo Rangers received word that the planet Eltar, home to their original mentor Zordon, had fallen to evil forces, Ashley and the other three new Turbo Rangers left Earth for outer space in a space shuttle, powerless but ready to fight to save Zordon.

Ashley and the other Rangers then met Andros, the Red Space Ranger, on the Astro Megaship, and she was given new powers as the Yellow Space Ranger. She quickly developed a crush on Andros, who would eventually return her feelings. After the final battle in "Power Rangers in Space", the Space Rangers returned to Earth.

Tommy and Kat

Power Ranger Couple

Kat and Tommy
(Pink Ranger and Red Ranger

Thomas "Tommy" Oliver (Jason David Frank) is a character from the universe of the American science fantasy television franchise Power Rangers. He is a main character in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series, as well as four of its successive incarnations Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo, and Power Rangers Dino Thunder. A Power Rangers veteran, Tommy is a legend among the Ranger community and is often considered to be one of the greatest Power Ranger of all time. During his time with the group, Tommy recognizes Kimberly's feelings.

During Power Rangers Zeo, Tommy, with a new ranger (Kat), is given the powers of the Zeo Crystal the Zeo Rangers to protect the Earth from the Machine Empire. Tommy remains the team's leader and is assigned to be the Red Zeo Ranger V. Later, Kimberly, while she is living in Paris for the Pan Global Games, sends Tommy a Dear John Letter, ending their relationship. Kat attempts to find a new girlfriend for him, but their duties as Power Rangers prevent any relationship from blossoming. Ultimately, Tommy and Kat begin dating. A holiday special during the season shows an elderly Tommy and Kat entertaining their granddaughter, and their teenaged grandson, who is hinted to be a Power Ranger.

Katherine "Kat" Hillard (Catherine Sutherland) is the second Pink Ranger and Pink Ninja Ranger of the third season in the series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the Pink Zeo Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo, and the first Pink Turbo Ranger in Power Rangers Turbo. A former aspiring champion diver (an ambition she abandoned after a diving accident), Kat came to Angel Grove, with her family after her father was transferred, from Surry Hills, Australia as a junior in high school. Rita Repulsa had made her an evil spy and gave her dark powers as well as the ability to turn into a cat.

Kat stole Kimberly's Ninja Coin, which weakened Kimberly due to the coin's connection to Kimberly's life force. Using the coin, she was able to enter Tommy Oliver's Falconzord and capture it, rendering the other Ninjazords useless. Because the coin was in the hands of evil, Kimberly's powers (and even her own life force) were drained. When Kimberly fell at the Youth Center due to her weakened state, Kat was there, and called the hospital to come and pick her up. Something about the incident, perhaps the realization that she was causing genuine harm rather than general mayhem, caused her to finally break Rita's spell. Seeking to redeem herself for her past misdeeds under the spell, Kat manages to trick Rito into falling asleep, and after retrieving the Ninja Coin, is teleported to safety by Alpha 5.

Kat had returned Kimberly's Ninja Coin and became her replacement as Kimberly left for the Pan Global Games. Kimberly simply hands her coin to Katherine, and the energy flows from Kimberly to Kat as she takes the coin. Kat becomes the second Pink Power Ranger and second Pink Ninja Ranger. She also controls the Crane Ninjazord, and copilots the White Shogunzord with Tommy.

After Kimberly broke up with Tommy, he developed a romantic interest in Kat. She tried to help Tommy through the break-up by inviting him on a skiing trip. There, he met a champion snowboarder named Heather Thompson. They were attracted to each other, but every time it looked as though they might get together, Tommy was called away to battle Mondo's latest monster. Eventually, after Tommy had to leave Heather midway through a romantic dinner (organized by Kat), she gave him up as a bad job. Kat and Tommy shared several shy moments and grew closer during this period, and eventually began dating toward the end of the season. In an episode showing a future storyline, Tommy and Kat were married and their teenage grandson had become a Power Ranger.
